Shining Gundam has finally been added to the Gundam Extreme Versus Maxi Boost roster this month after teasing its addition since the game first released. As a 2500 cost unit, Shining Gundam is most definitely a melee type fighter like all of the G Gundam units before it. Its arsenal comes with its famous Shining Finger, Shining Finger Sword, Hyper Mode and many other unique attacks as seen in the anime. What other G Gundam units should make the cut in the future? Check out the video below to see it in action!

Now all the G-Boys from Gundam Wing have been added to the Gundam Extreme Versus Maxi Boost roster with the addition of Gundam Sandrock Kai from the Gundam Wing TV series (if you don’t count the Wing Zero clone with Quatre). As the November roster addition, Quatre’s Gundam comes in as a 2000 cost unit. Its expected arsenal is there with the iconic Heat Shotels, sub-machine, and Maganac Corps as its assists. The Sandrock also employs the Zero System similar to Wing Gundam Zero which prevents it from being locked on for a short amount of time. All that’s left now is the original Wing Gundam to be added… and maybe a Mercurius or Vayaete. Make sure to check out the video below and see Gundam Sandrock Kai in action!

To sweeten the deal for newer players buying Gundam Breaker 2 on release, Bandai have thrown in an incentive. For first time buyers of the game, they will be given a code for the new BG-011B Build Burning Gundam from Gundam Build Fighters Try (shown below). This means players will be able to use this unit’s parts to create their own version, as is the way with the Gundam Breaker games. The game is set for a December 18th release and you can pre-order it here.

News: Gundam Breaker 2 Parts Upgrade System Details

Following up from the reveal that parts can be upgraded in Gundam Breaker 2 we now have more details on what that will look like in game. The main thrust is that weapons will acquire special type attacks depending on the type and upgrade, as well various stat increases. In addition, weapons are directly forged in this manner and the upgrades are a continuation of that. Again, considering how complex the customisation already was in the first game this seems a tad excessive. We’ll see once the game is released we suppose. The game is set for a December 18th release and you can pre-order it here.

What with the release of Gundam Breaker 2 around the corner we’ve now had a somewhat interesting game system revealed. Namely that parts can now be individually upgraded. Considering how complex the customisation system already is, makes this feel a tad overdone. That aside the new Gundam Wing units look pretty marvellous and shiny golden Beargguy is not about to get old any time soon. In a surprising turn of events, it looks like Right Stuf have brokered a deal with Sunrise to bring Gundam to the West. The first series of which being Turn A Gundam, that already had its Western release cancelled a while back. All in all this is fantastic news, as it finally means that Gundam can be released commercially again in the West. Hopefully Right Stuf will handle the Gundam mythos better than those before it.
