To commemorate Gundam’s 30th Anniversary, Bandai Namco are re-releasing a selection of best selling Gundam games at a reduced price in Japan. Some of these games are still Japanese exclusives, which is a shame as the recent Wii game developed by Team White Dingo was superb and it never made the jump abroad. Likewise, Artdink’s excellent PSP games are still without a Western release. These anniversary versions will hit Japanese stores on the 17th December.

[...] Bandai Namco is celebrating Gundam’s 30th Anniversary by re-releasing some of the best games in their Gundam series, which just so happens to include Gundam 0079 for Wii. I don’t think we’re ever going to see this game released in the states, which is a real shame, because reviews for this one were very favorable! Link [...]
This is a good opportunity for me to pick up the new Giren’s Greed title on the cheap. I already bought everything else for full price!
Play-Asia has Wii MS Sensen 0079 30th Anniversary for 44.90?! That seems super high for a budget/anniversary special release. I’ll stick to snatching the original release up used on Yahoo Japan then.
