News: Gundam Memories Announced

Famitsu has the details on the recently announced Gundam Memories for the PSP. The line-up is pretty thorough, as you’d expect, and covers off most of the Universal Century timeline as well as the newer alternate universe series. The game will also feature the insanely powerful GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] from the Gundam 00 movie Awakening of the Trailblazer. Admittedly the most important aspect of the Qan[T] was its ability to make war itself redundant, acting as a telepathic conduit to promote mutual understanding between the warring factions. Still, it’s an interesting mobile suit to have in a game.

Whilst it’s not known if Artdink are developing this, it’s probable that they are (on account of their successful Gundam Battle games). That said, some of the screenshots show quick time events akin to those in the Yuke’s developed Gundam Meisters, so we’ll see. In any case, the game is released on June 23rd.

I wonder when they are going to announce Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. for consoles.

I find its lack of MSV disturbing…

LOL at “Thuruster” XDD

BTW, judging from the graphics (in that provided screenshot, anyway), it looks like it wasn’t developed by Artdink; doesn’t look like that the game was a part of the Gundam Battle series. Just a wild guess…

I hope that this will improve Gundam Battle’s close range combat system (assuming that this is a sequel), but if it isn’t a sequel I hope it plays like A.C.E Portable.

Well, the QTEs don’t seem terrible for performing special attacks, but it looked like there was one just for firing the hyper bazooka… odd.

these games are over used. Its like dynasty warriors. Soooo over done.
Oh, wait. they do have one for gundam too..LOL.

atlease srw have some cheesy story line mixing it up.
well that cheesy story is not easy to make.
all that series put together a story. is better then those Gundam battle games.
