Slightly different from usual, GameWatch has a piece on the addition of two new mobile suits to the arcade version of Gundam Extreme Versus. Specifically that of the CB-002 Raphael Gundam from the Gundam 00 movie Awakening of the Trailblazer and the XM-X1 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai Kai “Skull Heart” (in Full Cloth garb) from the extended Crossbone Gundam manga Skullheart and Steel 7. The update is different in the sense that these mobile suits aren’t permanent entries but will only be available from September 28th to October 17th. This is all part of a cunning plan to help promote a large tournament as well as the upcoming release of the PS3 port in December (the latter you can still pre-order here). Whether both units will be present in the port remains to be seen but it’s likely they’ll be included in some form.

The two units did appear to be in the TGS trailer, so I imagine they will be in the port.

Or they’ll be DLC.

that’d be incredibly lame.

That’s what the industry is now. Bandai especially.

Why is Tobias drawn so differently than his original Hasegawa render?

And lol at double beam zanbers. The thing already has like three other swords.

Tobia…

They drew Zabine and Kinkaid differently too. Maybe they’re all using the same artist and his style. I tend not to question these things thanks to SRW.

Anyone any idea what the difference is between JP version and Asia version?

Usually there’s no difference between Asian and Japanese versions.

Is there an Asian PSN? If there’s DLC, maybe you’d have to buy it through that specific PSN store…

For Gundam Senki you could buy it through either PSN store if I remember correctly.

I got the free missions for 0081 from the Japanese PS store, so I imagine it would be the same way.
