Videos: Gundam Musou 3 Specials

With the launch of Gundam Musou 3 literally days away now, the official site has been stepping up with semi-regular video vignettes. Entitled Specials these show around 30 seconds of gameplay footage of a certain mobile suit pretty much owning small armies of enemy mecha. We’ve collated a few of them below, including the latest one – that of the Syd Mead designed CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X from Turn A Gundam. Enjoy!

The Turn X is one of the few mecha that actually COULD take on that many grunts at once. I’m glad it’s getting the power it deserves now.
They should add more atack types. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like this game, it’s good enough to be played for hours and hours, but I think it’s a little sad to see that they can show us all the gundam’s combos in just 30 seconds.
Unfortunately, Koei’s upper management believes “it’s selling copies = it’s not broken” according to a guy working on the localizations, so odds are pretty low for any more complexity in a DW game.
That said, was Kai copping a Mazinger Big Wheel in the Guncannon?
Double X is going to be the best unit in the game with that Satellite Cannon!
They really upped the “style” element of the game, making all these units feel absurdly powerful, like the Guncannon and even GvG Next superstar, Acguy. However, I am glad they went with the GP02A MLRS model for the game, though it only gets the launchers and beam bazooka during those attacks, but that is pretty standard for these games. Really wish there was more from Gundam X, though. So far it’s just the DX. No love for GX Divider?
I can’t wait to play this game. From the screen shots and videos, the MS selection looks massive.
I love being able to use many different grunts.
I think I even saw a Devil Army from G Gundam.
