Toys: Mass Produced Evangelion Revoltech Announced

Kaiyodo have announced that they’ll be releasing a Revoltech of the Mass Produced Evangelion this May. At 12cm in height, the demonic sock puppet with lipstick will be yours to own in more accessible toy form. This will allow eager fans of the anime to recreate the end of the show and films, with intermittent screaming from Shinji obviously. We’ve always found this mecha design to be weird/creepy/comical and enjoyed smiting these buggers in whatever Super Robot Wars game they surfaced in. As with all Revoltechs expect a reasonable price tag but with awesome articulation.
Wait, didn’t they release that a long time ago? I mean, I’ve got one.
This is a new figure with a newer sculpt as well as more accessories (as the last one didn’t have a Lance of Longinus for instance).

Supposedly, this will be the version featured in the upcoming Evangelion movie.
Oh ok. Is that the newer sculpt pictured there? Because aside from the lance I don’t see a difference from the one I’ve got.
That’ll certainly be wild though if they end up returning in Rebuild.
There are some new heads but apparently the frame has been re-tooled to be even more poseable.
Cool! It’s good that they mass-produced this one because this is awesome. Surely, this will still get sold out.
