Toys: Comiket Valken Figure

Much like the other Valken figure we recently mentioned, this one features the same booster pack but in the traditional green colours (instead of desert camouflage). This was released at last year’s Winter Comiket as a special figure. Thankfully, Tokyo Hunter is taking orders and at 1000 yen it’s a very nice bargain to boot.

The Valken figures remind me a lot of the early mecha of Code Geass. I’m actually starting to wonder if Code Geass actually used the Valken games as inspiration for their first season mecha designs, or if these figures might have been redesigned slightly to take advantage of their similar and more popular brethren.

Being a huge Valken fan, I was surprised to see this when I was at Comiket. Of course, it was already sold out…
