Bandai Namco have recently announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS 2 will be hitting arcades in 2018. Unlike Gundam Versus, this is being positioned as a true sequel to the Extreme VS franchise which started in 2018. We can only assume this will continue the crazy manga-based story of jumping between Gundam timelines and universes to stop some wacky AI that threatens to destroy everything. And as to be expected from previously released Extreme VS titles like Maxi Boost and Maxi Boost ON, it probably will not head to the console space any time soon.

As always, we’ll let you know when more is announced! Until then, check out the teaser video below and let us know what you think!

Really hope this comes to consoles in some form. Also love your Forbes articles, just can never get the log in to Forbes to work. 😛

Not really expecting a console release (please Switch, PC and more!) but this is pretty good news for the Gundam Vs. IP regardless.

I hope that this doesn’t drop anything from the original Extreme Vs run, making it more of a Season 2 than a total reset where the roster needs to be built up again.
